moving the Footer so it will show on Print Preview

I have a document that is a calendar. It has WordArt,
clip art, then the days and numbers for that month. I
added a Header with name and the student's class and a
Footer with the date. The Footer does not show up on
Print Preview, and obviously not when I print it.

I tried to resize the WordArt and clip art, but it made
it too small. Is there a way to move the Footer up? On
Print Preview there is almost an inch below the
calendar. The calendar ends at a little past 8 on the
ruler.

It isn't on the page when printed. The top part of a few
letters make it, but not the entire Footer. Could
something be set incorrectly on my computer for it to
show up on Print Preview but not print like that?

The default setting for the Footer and Header are "0.5 inches from the
edge". If you are printing to an inkjet (or Deskjet) printer, you might
need to set the Footer (File, Page Setup, Layout TAB) to 0.6". While in
Print layout View you can scroll to the bottom of your page, click the gray
area in the left scroll bar and drag up the bottom margin also.

Does this help (or make sense)?

I would check your margin/header/footer setting in Page
Setup to ensure they are within the print area and/or are
overlapping. Another way to see this at a glance is in
Tools/Options View turn select the boundaries box. This
will create a gray outline of your page and show you
where your margins are. Keep it between the lines. I
like to use this option when ever I am working with
tables or graphics.
