Hi. What's the best way to move a system folder like "My Pictures" to
another drive? I'm running out of room on my C: partition and need to make
space. Thanks

I am, as my name sugggests, a beginner, so I probably am in the wrong place.
But I need help. I have just typed a word document and when I went to print
it, I inadvertantly clicked on FAX rather than print. Now my computer seems
to be locked up on that window. I can't get it to do anything when I click
on the mouse. I don't want to lose the material I wrote in Word, but I am
afraid that if I turn on the computer, I will. HELP. Is there anyway I can
get that FAX window to close?

I moved everything in My Pictures folder to my D drive, labled My Pictures.
Then I made a shortcut to this folder and cut and pasted it inside My
Pictures folder on my C drive. Works like a charm.

TweakUI can move the folder you mentions.

Microsoft PowerToys for Windows XP
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

TweakUI 2.10 requires Windows XP Service Pack 1 or higher.

Within TweakUI, go to "My Computer" > "Special Folders".

You can download TweakUI 2.00 from Ramesh's Website if you do not meet the
requirements.
