moving some contacts to a dist list

Hi all,

I have a dsitributuion list that i would like to split into 3 lists...

Is there any easy way to create a new list and transfer 'some' of the
contacts from the old to the new ?

No easy or intuitive way. Most of us use the "Copy to Folder" command to
create another copy of the DL, then edit the copy to remove some of the
members.
 
Hi again

I figured out how to make 4 new distributions lists and copy 1/4 of my
original DL into each...
