moving selected fields in Access 2007

This is an absolutely basic design requirement that was easy in every
previous version of Access but is a nightmare in 2007.

There are a group of fields on a form that I want to move as a block.
Formerly I would have selected the group and then moved the selected
group using the arrow keys (or the mouse). This does not work in 2007.

In 2007 if I select a group and try and move it with the arrow keys -
the window moves.

In 2007 if I select a group and try and move it with the mouse - only
the specific field nearest the mouse moves (although, and this is
really strange, the selected group remains intact!).

I presume there must be a secret way of moving a group of fields in
2007 and I would appreciate being let in on the secret.

From your description, I was not able to reproduce this problem, so I must
be doing something different to you.

I tried in an ACCDB file, with forms as tabbed Documents (not overlapping
view.) My form was open in design view, and it did not have its Popup or
Modal properties set. I selected several controls by running the mouse
through them, and successfully moved them with keyboard arrows, and with the
mouse.

Can you identify what's different for you?

I have stumbled upon a work-around which I think gives a clue to what
the problem is.

Select all controls on the form and then click Remove on the Arrange
tab. Thereafter selected controls move as one would expect using the
mouse or the arrow keys. (Sometimes I seem to have to click Remove
more than once but I'll just live with that.)

Just by the by the by, I am finding Office 2007 very slow and a little
unstable but I imagine there will be an update for these issues soon.
In particular I have noticed that Office 2007 doesn't like it if I go
too fast for it. For instance, Access crashes if I open a database and
immediately open a form in design mode - as long as I count to 10
after opening the database I can open a form in design mode okay.
