I had to purchase a new computer because I needed a larger hard drive. I
handle a lot of pictures and did not want to have to view them on an
external hard drive everytime that I wanted to work with them. I have to
carry my laptop with me everywhere and dragging around an external hard
drive was not an option for me. I went from an 80 to 500 gb hard drive. I
had no option to purchase the computer I have with Windows xp, only Vista
was available. I am disgusted that something that wasn't broken had to be
replaced with something as frustrating as Vista. I don't mind change if it
is better and simplifes a product. My philosophy is from the old adage
Keep It Simple Stupid. (KISS) It is a learning process and I will learn it.
But why oh why fix something that isn't broken. I have finally figured out
how to move multiple picture files without cutting and pasting or dropping
and dragging. Before you just clicked on move file in the left pane menu.
Move files window came up and you just clicked where you wanted them moved.
It was accomplished in a timely manner. Why would Microsoft make this take
more time in faster paced world? They should have sped up the process
instead of slowing it down. Now you have to click on the file you want to
move, go to edit, then go to move folder, move folder window comes up and
you choose where to move file. I believe there is an extra click or two in
there somewhere. Maybe this will help other non-geeks in some way. Vicki
