Moving OS from E: to C: Drive

My OS (XP Home) got corrupt and I tried repairing it. In order to save all my
doc's and stuff I ended up putting a new install of XP on E: drive. My PC is
working okay but I want ot get things back to normal. Is there a way I can
move (sic) the Windows Folder (OS) back to C: drive w/o doing any more
screw-ups? The OS is till on C: drive but its corrupt, it keeps looping at
startup.

There are a variety of third party products that will enable you to do so
HOWEVER even those have a good chance of messing up. In all honesty I truly
would recommend that you just adjust your thinking instead of the OS and
think of "E" as C: from now on. *grins*

If you're still seeing the chance to dual boot you can edit the boot.ini and
then clear out the C: drive (after taking ownership of any files you want)
and have that space as your spare so that you can backup your OS to that
partition/drive if you wanted to.

There's only one way which I know. You can backup all the files on Drive E:
and then format the drive, install Windows XP in C: Drive. Note that
formatting will erase all the files on drive E:. Backup any important files
otherwise I'll not be responsible for erasing your files.
