moving objects during a presentation

I don't believe that you can make PowerPoint objects draggable, but it
can be approximated with VBA (I have an example that lets you click on
an object, click somewhere else, and have the object move to the
somewhere else. I have also seen this on the Web with JavaScript.

I'd like to know if it's possible to do this in PowerPoint.

The idea is to have various objects that people would be able to move
on-screen (I use an interactive whiteboard so this would be a great group
activity)
