Moving NTDS

Hi,

I recently was put in charge of an ew AD server. However, the NTDS is
located on a separate physical disk. Meaning I need the boot HD plus the
secondary HD where the NTDS is located in order to boot properly.

My question is, how can I move back the NTDS to the boot HD so I can boot
from one HD only.

You can use ntdsutil to move the ntds.dit file

Note however that Microsoft recommends keeping the AD database and log files
on separate partitions so maybe the original administrator did this for a
good reason?
