I have just changed computers and am now using Outlook 2000. Previously I
used Express. I have successfully moved my contacts to Contacts but I can
not get them to show up in my address book so I can not access them when I
clock on To in an email masseage. I am using Microsoft Outlook SR-1
(9.0.0.3821) When I imported the addresses, I did not have the option to
move them to the Personal Address Book.

Thanks Al

The Personal Address Book is not in play. Outlook no longer uses it.
Outlook 2000 is very outdated. It existed as two entirely separate programs:
Internet Mail only and Corporate/Workgroup. You need to specify which you
are using for anyone to answer you. If you don't know, look in Help | About.

Thanks Russ

Near the top of my About Microsoft Outlook page it says " Corporate or
Workgroup". Is this what is needed to help me?

Yup.
Go to Tools > Services. Make sure the Outlook Address Book service is
listed. If not, add it. Next, R click on the Contact folder or folders you
want the OAB to display, choose "Properties", go to the Outlook Address Book
tab and check the "Show this folder as an E-mail address book" box. You may
also need to go to Tools > Options > Addressing Tab and choose to show your
Contacts folder.
