Moving multiple items from deleted to inbox error

I have an end-user w/Outlook 2007, when trying to move multiple items (8
emails) from the deleted items folder back to the inbox - he is propmted with
a message "Do you want to create a new item, this may take some time
etc....." If you click yes it generates a new email message with those 8
emails as attachments, if you click no - you just lost those emails and then
you have to go to recover deleted items to retrieve them. This happens
whether you highlight and drag or if you highlight and right-click and choose
move to folder.

Any help out there...???

Thanks

I think you may find running the command line switch to reset the folders
will fix it.

Judy,
I tried the switch you recommended but it did not cure my problem - this has
got to a bug in Outlook 2007...

Are you certain that all 8 items are emails? The message you see relates to
moving other types of items. eg Deleted Contacts or Meetings.

What happens if you try moving one or two?

I'll double check, but I am pretty sure they were all emails, moving one at a
time works fine...

That's exactly right! Software would be so much better if people didn't try
to use it. ;)
