Hi folks, is there any easy way of moving two lists in word where one is
under the other :-

1
2
3
4

5
6
7
8

so that list b is shown adjacent to list a :-

1 5
2 6
3 7
4 8

Many thanks,
Chris

Select all the list items, then go to Format > Columns and select two
columns. Word will automatically insert a continuous section break before
the lists and another after the lists, with the section between them in two
columns.

If the list item 5 (or whatever is the start of the second list) doesn't
appear at the top of the second column, place the cursor at the start of
that item and insert a column break (Ctrl+Shift+Enter).

The easiest way would be to create a two column borderless table.
