Hi,

I have a series of folders in Outlook (2003) which I use to store
emails. I want to be able to drag them into my C:drive or a network
drive and store them there instead. When I try and do this it just
creates a shortcut back to the folder in outlook. Any ideas what I can
do differently?

Thanks Chris

P.s. I don't want to archive them as I'm not a fan of .pst files!

You can't copy a folder from Outlook to your c: drive!!
what you can do is create a folder on your c: drive ,then select all items
in the outlook folder and drag them into the folder on the c: drive
