Moving a PATA drive to an external enclosure

If I move an internal ATA-133 PATA drive into an USB 2.0 enclosure, will
I lose performance? (Assume the drive is the only USB device in the
system.)

Yes. USB sucks, relatively speaking.

My understanding is that USB is a bidirectional transfer
protocol. Given that, is it your opinion that USB sucks
*and* blows?
