Hello,

I'm about to start using "Movietrack" DVD organiser

Help file doesn't explain what file/s extension

I should regularly back up.Without this information I have visions of

inputting a lot of data and then later losing it.

I have contacted the author of the software( whose mainsite has been

unavailable for a couple of months) but so far I have not received a reply

to the email.

Any users of "Movetrack" able to help me with my question ?

Thanks.

Mike.

Hi Marion,

Simple. Backup the following (all are in the MovieTrack install
folder):

*MovieTrack.ini in the MovieTrack folder (this is where the program
settings are kept)

*Config.ini (optional - just check the modified date on it, if you
haven't made any changes to it, you don't need to back it up)

*The "Backup" folder (optional - if there is only the MovieTrack .ico
file in there, don't worry aboutbacking it up)

*The "Profiles" folder. Profiles is where all the MovieTrack info you
enter is kept, and this is the one essential thing you should backup.
The program settings in the MovieTrack.ini file can always be
recreated manually by yourself after you reinstall if necessary - but
your data can't be without a lot of typing...

*If you've made your own custom skin (or changed one of the existing
ones), backup the Skins folder. If not, don't worry about backing it
up

*If you've made any changes to the export templates, backup the Export
Templates folder. If not, don't worry about backing it up
