I have been trying to up load D V clips to moviemaker, the
one time it did work it hung my whole machine ,even ctr alt
delete diddnt help . i have another editing program which
also gives the same result.
i have a firewire card ooodles of drive
space a P4 1.6 a samsung D v camera all the bells and
whistles , but the damm thing wont fly
help!!!! i spent a bundle on me beastie to edit movies

Addendum it also gives me an error message saying that
there is a problem with the hardware and that its not
configured properly.
i did actualy manage to get one clip on board but nothing since

Seems like you should be on some other newsgroup to resolve those kinds of
issues. Or at least note the specific error message so we might be able to
give you a pointer. When that's resolved, maybe it's time to test making
movies again.
