Hi - I'm trying to capture video from a mini-DV Canon camcorder using
my year-old Compaq Presario laptop with XP, 512 megs of RAM (at
least). Moviemaker recognizes the camcorder connection (via Firewire)
but freezes up at different points, and I can never actually capture
any video. It freezes so badly that even task manager stops
responding. Anyone with experience have a suggestion?
