Movie Maker problem after publishing!

Hi there

I have Windows Vista Ultimate and have been using the Movie Maker on it but
have been experiencing the same problem all the time when trying to make a
movie.

Once I have made finished a project and then select make movie and once It
has done making it into a movie and then I play it on WMP11 , Media Player
classic, Real Player or even Nero Showtime half of the movie on the bottom
half is green and then at the top half is the actual movie itself. Its like
its got rid of half the movie and filled it with this green colour. Its
really annoying ive tried different settings of quality for the movie and
different formats etc to make it but still same problem.

Whats going on?

Maybe the following info that I copied and
saved from a previous message will offer
some ideas:

Here's the website I found by googling my problem:

Fixing the Green Bar Problem in Windows Movie Maker
http://www.bernzilla.com/item.php?id=884

When I tried to follow the directions, I was unable to find XVid on my
computer. So I googled XVid and then went to ( I think) the 2nd entry to
download XVid. After I downloaded it, I was able to follow the directions
from bernzilla and when I published a video - Voila!! no green bar!!!!
