Movie Maker Playback is TOO fast...

Can anyone help me. I downloaded the new version of Movie Maker and installed it. Now when I move a clip to the timeline and play it... it is too fast. The clips play normally until you move them to the timeline. I am on a deadline and need to complete this asap. Any help would be great!!
