What does the following error message mean and how do I fix it please. Also I
clicked on the link embedded within the message and it is incorrect.:

I get the same kind of errors from time to time. The errors automatically
show up under the "Sync Issues" folder in Outlook.

Here is one I got:

14:58:52 Synchronizing local changes in folder 'Inbox'
14:58:52 Uploading to server 'xxx'
14:58:52 Error synchronizing message 'Gegevens Gert'

14:58:52 Microsoft Office Outlook Offline Folders

(I deleted the public URL of the server manually in the log file)

I am not sure where these errors come from. I have a local outlook that
works with a Hosted Exchange server over the internet and at the same time my
Windows Mobile 5 PDA syncs with that Hosted Exchange server over the internet.

I suppose one of the two synchronizations gives an error from time to time,
although it is not clear to me which one we are talking about here.

At the same time, I don't really see any problems in the sync and everything
seems Ok. Also, the indication that I can see this item in my offline folder
too, is not very clear to me. Is he talking about the Outlook on my notebook
or the PDA ?

And yes, finally, the URL in the message log is non existing !

I wonder what will come out of this...

Thanks for your reply !

I went through the thread you posted, but I found nothing really important
for me.

Please note I am not really having troubles synching ! I just notice this
error message that pop up occasionaly and that are located in the "sync
folder".

Since nothing seems wrong when I check the specific messages the error talks
about (I can find the message on both machines) and since the URL that is in
the error logs does not seem to exist anymore, I just wonder what is going on
here...

I don't know what synchronization software you use (I don't use a
Windows-based PDA) but at this point maybe you'd have to see if their support
could answer your question. At least it's not causing you any problems at
the moment.
