I am using Outlook 2007. When I move a message from the Inbox it puts a copy
in my delete folder. Then when I try to empty the delete folder it says
server won't allow that process. If I close Outlook and reopen it I can then
empty the delete folder. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Roady, thanks for your quick response. However I'm not sure how to respond
to your question-I am moving messages from my "inbox in EMAIL
(e-mail address removed)" to my individual folders (in the same tree as the "inbox..."
The messages move fine however it puts a copy in my "deleted items in EMAIL
(e-mail address removed)" file also. When I go to account settings it says it is
HTTP. However at the bottom of the account setting page it says "selected
email messages are delivered to "(e-mail address removed)-00000008.pst" On
the data files page default is a .pst file. but "(e-mail address removed)"is
also listed The odd thing about this is it won't let me empty the deleted
file without closing and reopening outlook. I probably haven't given you what
you asked for, so if you don't mind "talk" me through what info I need to
give you.

Are you using the Outlook Connector to access you mail? I would highly
recommend that over the default HTTP connecting Outlook offers.

Hi Roady, appreciate the response. I installed Connector and it didn't change
the problem at all. I actually installed and uninstalled twice, because
everytime I put it in the computer the speed went to zero. So I don't know
if that is a related problem or it just didn't "like" Connector-if you've got
anyother ideas, I love to hear them. Thanks
