I have purchased a new Laptop, and need to move all my existing EMAILS /
Folders from my old Tower PC which is dying. My old PC is using Windows XP
and Microsoft Outlook 2000. My new Laptop is using Vista Home Basic and
Windows EMAIL 6.0

I have a USB Flashcard to transfer the data, but I cannot make it work.

I am not very good with PC's !!!!

Outlook 2000 and Windows Mail are not within the same family of
applications. Outlook 2000 is part of Office and Windows Mail is part of
Internet Explorer/Windows. Transfering data and converting mail application
is not a one step process.

On your old PC start Outlook Express (Windows Mail is the successor of
Outlook Express and thus is within the same family of application). In
Outlook Express then use Import to import your data from Outlook. Once
import has completed you are done as far Outlook is concerned.

You would now have to transfer the Outlook Express data (dbx-files) and
configure them with Windows Mail. If you need support for that ask in the
Windows Mail newsgroup;
windows.vista.mail
