All e-mail messages should go to your Deleted Items folder in Outlook by
default unless you highlight a message and pres Shift + Delete on the
keyboard then they will be permanently deleted without going to the Deleted
Items folder. If you simply press delete on the keyboard or go to Edit ->
Delete on the file menu or Select the X on the toolbar to delete then the
messages should go to the Deleted Items folder.
