Move Header to Next Column... IF

G

Thanks for taking the time to read my question.

I have a 2 column report. I have a header that repeats for every section.
If the section doesn't fit on the rest of the column, the section moves to
the next column, but the header stays. This looks silly. How can I fix this?

If Page Remaining is less than height of section, move header and section to
next page, otherwise, print header and section here.

Thanks,

Example:

A's Brooks, Garth
----------------------
Alfredson, Barny Buckingham, Oswald

Anderson, Mr. Buckingham, Peter

Azer, Bobba C's
--------------------------

B's Cunningham, Richie
---------------------

Should be:

A's B's
---------------------- ------------------------
Alfredson, Barny Brooks, Garth

Anderson, Mr. Buckingham, Oswald

Azer, Bobba Buckingham, Peter

C's
--------------------------

Cunningham, Richie

I'l like the B's to move to the next column, but if one name fits, then the
B's can stay and the report can show the one name

Hi Brad,

from the Report Design, choose

View, Sorting and Grouping

click on the row for your letter

in the lower section, change:
Keep Together --> With First Detail

Have an awesome day

That is PERFECT!! I never knew that was there. I always went to the
properties of the section, not the sorting and grouping.

Thanks so much Crystal.

Have a great weekend.
