move compressed SAN data to new server

Hi,

I have a windows 2000 server with data on a SAN that is compressed. I have a
windows 2003 server which I plan on "presenting" the SAN data to. Will the
new server see the data since it is compressed?

Hello Dave,

Better uncompress it before, then change to 2003 and compress again.

DONT forget to backup your data BEFORE.
