Move/Affect Objects with Macros

Does anyone know how to move and affect objects in a PowerPoint
presentation with macros ?

I know how to start the macro, but it does not run. I want to animate
through a macro a standard grouping I created. I recorded a macro and
encoded the steps, however, it crashes in the selection of the
grouping.

Thanx for any input.

What Bill said and ...

I have a couple of example macros that let you move objects. Go to my
site:

http://www.PowerfulPowerPoint.com/

Click on the "More Tricks" button and look for tricks, 5 and 8. If you
want to affect shapes in other ways, I have many more examples of that as
well. Browse through the various examples in "Examples by Chapter."

Thanx Bill,

I have tried that and it seems to move the object. I guess what I was
hoping for was an "animation" incrementally showing the 3 or 4 moves I
am trying to make. I am trying to move a text group from the bottom of
the screen to the top of the screen, then from side to side.

This method just "pops" it into my final position. I have tried to
incrementally displace the object, but I guess I need some timing
delays in the actual move to see the incremental animation. Am I going
to the well once too often ?

Input is much appreciated.

After each change in the objects location, add a 'DoEvents' command. This
usually causes the screen to update with the new appearance. VBA usually
does not animate objects very smoothly.
