Mouseover selection setting?

When I mouseover an icon in a folder it gets selected. I only want to have
an icon selected when it is clicked. Is there a setting that will do this?

Go to Control Panel->Folder Options. Under the General Tab select "Double
click to open an item........" Click Ok
