Mousekeys

My friend is disabled and he uses mousekeys to do anything in windows. He recently bought a new computer with XP on it. The mousekeys in XP wont click anything in any games I have found. We have tried all the games on an old 9X machine and they work fine. But in Win Xp it lets you move the mouse, but no click. some of the games are older and some of them are new releases. It seems to be a Win XP issue. some of the games you can just configure another key for the click, but most you can't. Any help would be appreciated

Here's what I've been able to find as feedback so far regarding your
problem:

I have not heard of a problem with mouse click on WinXP before. Only thing I
can think of is numpad 5 conflicting with use of numpad in some games (e.g.
that key may be bound to a specific function in the game, and thus it stomps
mousekeys).
