My sister sent the following urgent message tonight:

HELP. I CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO WORK MY
MOUSE! IT DIED ON ME, OR I HAVE SOMETHING
ON THE KEYBOARD TURNED OFF-I CHANGED
THE BATTERIES. I HAVE A LOGITECH MOUSE
AND LOGITECH KEYBOARD.

I USED MY ARROW KEYS AND MUCH TRIAL AND
ERROR TO RESPOND TO YOUR EMAIL SO I
COULD ASK YOU ABOUT THIS!!

I don't have any answers for her. Can you offer advice?
Thank you in advance.

Try the reset button or on/off switch. It looks like a wireless mouse.

Option B is to buy another mouse.

Answered in another newsgroup. Please do not send the same message
separately to more than one newsgroup (called multiposting). Doing so just
fragments the thread, so someone who answers in one newsgroup doesn't get to
see answers from others in another newsgroup. And for those who read all the
newsgroups the message is multiposted to, they see the message multiple
times instead of once (they would see it only once if you correctly
crossposted instead).

If you must send the same message to more than one newsgroup, please do so
by crossposting (but only to a *few* related newsgroups).

Please see "What is the accepted way to share a message across multiple
newsgroups?" at http://smjg.port5.com/faqs/usenet/xpost.html

All clues points towards CAT's involvement.

At the time I posted to another newsgroup, the original post had
disappeared from the group. Couldn't find it anywhere, and assumed
it had been deleted by MS powers for some reason. I then posted in
the basics newsgroup in the hopes that it wouldn't go away there.
