Mouse Scroll In Excel 2003

John Cooney

Ever since I upgraded to Excel 2003 the following problem
occurs.

While scrolling vertically with a Logitech remote mouse,
after about 15 minutes of use, the spreadsheet begins to
scroll diagonally instead of vertically while using the
scroll wheel on the mouse. The only way to stop this
movement is to close the spreadsheet and then reopen it.
Then all is fine for about 15 minutes.

Anyone else seen this problem and have a fix?

Thanks

First, I don't use xl2003 and I don't use a Logitech mouse--so take this with a
large grain of salt.

The first thing I'd do is to do is to determine if it's the mouse or excel.

Can you swap to a "plain vanilla" mouse? (Remote=wireless???)

Or even see if there's a new driver at Logitech's web site. (or even an older
version!)

Don't some of the new mouses (mice?) have the ability to scroll right and left
by applying pressure to the wheel button?

(maybe it's a learning thing for you and the mouse????)

Good luck,
