Is is possible to stop/disable the shaded rectangular popup boxes from
displaying when you
roll a mouse pointer over a filename, website URL, or website graphic?

Start> Control Panel> Mouse. Click on the Pointers tab. Select another
Scheme to see if there is one that you can use.
