Mouse movement

I would like to change the ratio of mouse to cursor movement more than what
is possible in control panel. The settings are only allowing me to move the
mouse at 6" and the cursor 2" . I want to be able to move my mouse 12" but
have the cursor only move 1". Is there software that can do this or is there
something else i can do.

Function of the mouse driver and software. Different mouse and driver,
different capabilities.
 
Usually an indication that the drivers for the video card are not quite
the correct ones. Visit the card manufacturers web site and get correct
current ones to install.
