mouse drifting after SP2

Hi,

I've installed the SP2 and to my surprise everything works well,
except my mouse. Sometimes it drifts slowly to the left. This weird
behaviour is linked to the SP2, the mouse has never done that before,
also, several times I have come back to to the bare XP with the mouse
perfectly quiet there. Any ideas ?

Maybe you're sitting in an earthquake zone. Anyways, look at the mouse
properties for their settings, SP2 may have reset something.
Start/Control Panel/Mouse/Pointer options. Under Moton, check
"Enhance pointer precision", etc.
 
My guess would be that you use two mice, and one of them is USB. I know of
no workaround for that sp2 bug, yet.
