Hi...Sometimes when I boot up my new Dell 8300 with Xp home; my mouse is not loading or sometimes the Keyboard wont load. Both are Logitech brand.

Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 bootups to get them working.

Any ideas ? Anyone else have this problem ?

Thanks in advance.

Are these wireless devices? USB? Saying "Logitech brand" isn't detailed
enough. If wireless, are your batteries fresh? If usb, is "legacy usb
devices" enabled in your BIOS?

Nope.. not wireless devices.

I really don't think it is the brand. I think it is an XP problem. But if it helps..the mouse is the logitech Mx500 cord mouse and the keyboard is the corded logitech elite keyboard.

Try with a different mouse and keyboard (ps/2). If you get the same
problem, then it is probably your motherboard connectors. If you don't
get the same problem, it is probably a Logitech issue, maybe with their
drivers and you could check on their site for newer ones or maybe a
tech support knowledge base in case this is a known issue.
