Most recently used program list resets after logoff/reboot

Hi.

I'm using Window XP Home Edition.

I am having a problem with the most recently used programs list. I have 3
profiles on my computer. (I recently had some computer problems and ended up
making a couple of others.) One of them still has ties to the MRU list; when
you logon to that profile, it displays the correct MRU list. However, the
other two do not; instead, they reset to the default MRU list ("Tour Windows
XP", "Internet Explorer", etc.).

During my profile session, if I run programs, they are added to the MRU list
just as they should be. However, if I logoff (or reboot, of course)... when
I return to the profile, the MRU lists resets every time.

Does anyone have a suggestion as to what I can do to resolve this problem?

Thanks for yer time!

Mike

Mike,

See if this helps.

Start Menu pops up at every logon, and the Most Frequently Used programs
list is reset everytime:
