Moschip installation problem

I have a new Fujitsu Siemens PC. The M/B has an AMD 690 system chipset and
ATI XPress 1200 graphic chipset. The os is Windows Vista Basic. The system
doesn't have parallel port and, because I need it, I add a pci parallel card,
that has a MOSCHIP MCS9805 chipset, in a slot. Windows found the new hardware
but doesn't recognize the driver that is certified by Microsoft and
downloaded from manufacture's site. How can I solve this problem ?
Thank you for the help

Catello,
This may seem obvious, but does the "bitness" (32-bit or 64-bit) of the
downloaded driver match the one of Vista.
One last shot.
Is the file an exe?
If so, try expanding it with WinRAR.
Go to device manager and right click on your parallel port (should have a
yellow bang or a question mark) and choose update driver.
Use the option that lets you point to the driver location and browse to the
expanded files.
Click accept.
That should do it.
