Excuse me if it's a FAQ (if yes, PLS tell me where to find the answer).

I have a would-be Excel spreadsheet of more than 65536 lines, i.e. in
excess of the number of lines allowed in my Excel version (Excel 2000
under Windows 2000).

Is there a newer version (or several newer ones) of Excel that allows more
than 65536 lines?
If yes, TIA for telling me the version number(s), starting with the oldest
one (that has a fair chance of running under Windows 2000).

Not yet. We're hoping it will happen in future versions.

Try Quattro Pro. Goes to 1,000,000 rows. Bad idea! Use a database or
multiple sheets.
