More Right Click Options

I was using my friend’s iBook today to check my mail using OS X's Mail
program (Mail.app), when I saw a really awesome feature. In Apple's OS X
Mail program you can right click and select "Bounce". Bounce will return the
e-mail to the sender as if your e-mail account never existed.

Now I know this isn't a full proof thing, but hey it couldn't hurt to add
this awesome feature on top of Outlook 2003 already amazing Spam Filtering
software. I personally would love to have such a feature, and this wouldn't
help keep Outlook above the other e-mail programs in my opinion. As it would
make my daily experience with Outlook 2003 even more enjoyable.

Why do you want to incur charges for your ISP and the ISP of the forged Reply To. All you propose is to becomer a spammer. You are a criminal.

Actually, David, what he proposes is an anti-spam measure. When you receive
a SPAM e-mail, you "bounce" the message in the hope that the sender will
receive the bounced reply, thinking that the e-mail is invalid and cause them
to remove that e-mail address from their database. Unfortunately, the number
of spammers that include their actual e-mail address in the "reply to" is
probably much closer to 0% than 100%

He probably thinks spammers have inboxes that they process.
They DONT. Like Postmaster & hidden disposable addy's,
incoming mail just disappears.

So there is no revenge in his bouncing.

Just my 2¢ worth- Larry

Any advise given is my attempt to show appreciation for all
the excellent help I've received here but I'm no MVP so it
may only apply NUGS (Normally, Usually, Generally, Sometimes :)

You can get this feature with Mailwasher. But have it disabled.

This is actually a very bad concept. Since 99.9% of spam emails are either
munged return addresses or they are using pirated email addresses, so doing
this will either add an unnecessary burden to the various ISPs or slam the
holder of the pirated email account. While it might make you feel good
thinking you have told the spammer that you don't exist - it is really only
adding to the already heavy cost to the internet in general.
