More on the 'receiving multiple messages' syndrome

I too recently began receiving multiple copies of email messages, along with
a receiving error message, on one of my personal accounts. At first it
occurred intermittently. Today it happened everytime I received email. My ISP
is SBC Yahoo. I talked to a tech support guy in India for approximately 45
minutes. After jumping through hoops and doing several restarts he offered to
set me up with Yahoo Plus service (whatever that is) for 49.50. Also gave me
the tech support number for Microsoft. I said thank you and goodbye. I then
went to my SBC Yahoo Internet mail and emptied my Inbox, Bulk, and Trash
folders for the errant account. Lo and Behold! When I returned to Outlook
everything was back to normal! Could this be the case for some of you?
