More on removing Mozilla Firefox

Mozilla Firefox isn't listed in Add/Remove in Control Panel. The uninstall
link in the Mozilla program isn't valid. Deleting Mozilla manually wipes out
most of All Programs, including System Restore. HELP! How do I remove
Mozilla Firefox?

O

oops!!

You should not look at Firefox as the source of your troubles.

It isn't!

Perhaps you would like to elaborate on what you have done to your PC?

Then, people can help.

Otherwise, I don't see how they can.

Good luck,

Zee

It's not what I did to my PC, it's what my PC did to me. It started locking
up. I run a lean machine as it's my work computer. I have firewall,
antivirus, antispyware. I don't surf on the net. Why was the PC acting up?
It started doing so after I installed updates from Microsoft. I took it to a
repairman, had the disk wiped clean and started over. It's been pure ----
trying to get everything reinstalled. Answer your question? I think my
problem may be that I don't have a Mac, which I did for years, but then I had
this burst of insanity and bought Microsoft.

If it's not listed in Add/Remove Programs, then the install was defective
or has become damaged. You may be able to fix this by reinstalling
Mozilla in the same folder where it was previously installed and then
uninstalling it. You didn't say how you attempted to delete it manually,
but if doing so wipes out other applications, you're doing something
wrong.

Best way that I can think of is to reinstall it, then use the "Add/Remove
Programs" control in the Control Panel.

What anti-spyware?
No one anti-spyware catches everything.

First eliminate any spyware.
