monogram help for a newbie

Hi everyone
I hope someone can help with this. I have created a monogram for our
wedding in Powerpoint. Used first name Last intial first name. I learned
this from the internet, but the font I used Sheer Elegance only goes up to
96 size.
How can I make it bigger? When I am finished and click Save...what should I
save it as?
I want to use this monogram on my invites reply cards, programs etc. that I
have created in Word 2000.
But it seems everytime I insert it in Word I can't resize it the way I want.
I have no idea what I am doing and have spent hours on trying to figure this
out.

I would save it as an image file .jpg, .png etc and then insert that as an
image into your Word document Then you can size it to any size that you
want.

The pre-supplied sizes only go up to 96, but you can type higher values into
the text size box.

When I am finished and click Save...what should I
save it as?
I want to use this monogram on my invites reply cards, programs etc. that I
have created in Word 2000.

Save it as a normal PowerPoint file before you do anything else.
You may need to open and edit it again.

You should be able to select the graphics, choose Edit, Copy then switch to
Word and Edit, Paste Special, as EMF.

But it seems everytime I insert it in Word I can't resize it the way I want.

Word and pictures ... not a pretty combination, but the folks in the Word
newsgroups should be able to help you with this.

But when I type in a larger font size it doesn't accept it.

Select the text. Go to FORMAT > FONT and in the size box TYPE IN a bigger
number that 96. Even if you cant select a bigger number this should work.

Ah, sorry ... forgot to mention this bit:

Type in the size then press TAB or ENTER ... if you just type something then
click elsewhere, PPT ignores you.
