My window XP home edition has this problem of frequent
backout of the monitor screen and auto restart itself.

What is the problem? Can anyone help.

Look in Control Panel|SYSTEM|ADVANCED|START UP AND RECOVERY...
UNcheck the "automatic startup" box, if it is not already in that state.

This may reveal an error message, instead of rebooting...which in turn
should help diagnose the problem.
