My monitor keeps turning off on its own, sometimes I can pull the
power cord out of the back and then reconnect to get it back on.
Sometimes re-booting fixes it but the problem keeps coming back.
Is it a faulty monitor or is the computer doing it, all the powersaver
options are now turned off.
I have a HP pavillion PC running on XP.
I would be grateful for anyhelp

How long from the time you first turn on your PC until the monitor shuts
off?
After the monitor shuts off and you re-boot does this fix the problem?

Hello,

When the monitor turns off, does it display any message? Are any LEDs lit up
when it does so?

If both answers are No, then it is highly likely that your monitor is
faulty. The best way to verify this is to hook up another monitor.
