Hi there people i am new here.. my first post as you may notice.. i
just have this big problem i have been trying for ages to try and
solve and have got no where...

well.. when i turn on my pc everything powers up .. BUT the moniter
says "moniter is working, check for connection" so i unplugged the
moniter from the pc and it came up with the same thing, therefor the
moniter does not detect the pc? so i tried changeing over the graphics
card that did not work tried diff moniter that did not work i tried
different power supply that did not work i also tried different
processor that did not work tried using the cables from my other pc..
i even changed cases.. i have tried absolutely everything i can think
of and after all that i have tried i have come to the conclusion my
motherboard isnt working the way it should be?

please any ideas you think i may not have tried would be appreciated
thanks, ian

Insert the video card in a different slot in the computer's chassis.
If this does not help either, I would take the machine to a hardware
store to have it checked.

Since the monitor is not receiving a signal from the computer, Try the
monitor on a different computer, try the computer on a different
monitor. You will then know which is the problem.
