monitor screen messed up

the picture on my monitor is not showing on the entire
screen area. there is about one inch of black space on
the right hand side. I have tried to adjust using the
monitor adjust on the monitor itself but that is not
working. does anyone have any suggestions? anything
would be appreciated.

try installing new device drivers for the vga card. if
that aint work then try changing the resolution of the
screen.
