Monitor Port

Hello,
Due to many bugs, I recently reformatted my hard drive with XP Pro. It is a
Sony notebook PCG-NV170 and I have re-installed everything I need, I think!
I use this notebook for presentations and I just realized that my MONITOR
port does not work. I connect the projector but when I hit the FN and F7/F8
keys nothing happens. The monitor doesn't switch over to the projector.

Please help, without this, the notebook serves me no purpose...

You need to install the drivers for your motherboard and any other
laptop-specific software. Go to Sony's website for your model and
download/install what you need. If you think you already got
everything, contact Sony tech support to see what you are missing.
