Monitor hangs

Tried to set monitor resolution at highest resolution. On
restart, I get a windows start screen, but then monitor
goes black. Help!

Keep pressing F8 while booting then select Safe Mode. You can then change
the setting then restart the computer.

Thanks very much, I got the VGA mode started again by
pressing the F8 button while starting and that worked.
