monitor freaking out

Each time i turn on my computer the screen scrolls left
to right for at least a minute before correcting. We have
checked all alvailable routes in control panel ...updated
drivers etc. nothing has helped. Any suggestions?

What is your system spec.

Look for a control on your monitor (it may be on the back) that says
"Horizontal Hold". If you have the control, adjust it so the picture
position is stable, not trying to roll to the right or left. This control
may be inside the monitor; if so I suggest you take it to a repair shop.

it goes nuts on startup till it settles down.
