Monitor Display Probhlem After Update

After installing the latest updates on Windows XP Pro, my display ran off my
monitor screen. I used the buttons on the monitor to shrink it so everything
is visible but I have a 2 inch black strip along the top and a 1 inch strip
along the left side.

What updates did you install? Was that a graphics card / driver update?
If so, go into device manager - right click My Computer | Manage |
System Tools | Device Manager | Display Adapters. Double click the
adapter, then choose Driver | Roll back driver. In the future don't get
driver updates from windows update site.
