monitor colors too dark after ME to XP system change

I have tried changing resolution, pixels and everything
else I could, all to no avail. The monitor settings are
all set to the brightest possible but the colors are
still too dark for my chilren to play their favorite
website game (runescape). Windows ME had something called
Twin View in the advanced color control that had slider
controls for the Hue, Contrast and Omega(?) but I can
find nothing like this in XP. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

That's because the video drivers you had installed in Windows ME gave your
computer that capability.

Perhaps GAMMA.

Features are dependent upon the video drivers. Download the latest from
the chip or card manufacturer's WEBsite. If results are poor, ROLL BACK
to the prior drivers. If your are unfamiliar with this process, it's best
left to someone who is.
