monitor automatically powering off

I just bought a new computer which runs XP media center. I have different
users/logons set up. When I (as an administrator) am on the computer and
leave, the monitor will eventually go to screen saver mode. When another
user, who is also an administrator leaves, the monitor does not go into
screen saver mode, even though the settings are the same. Any thoughts on
how I can get the monitor to go into screen saver mode no matter the user
logged on?

Try going to Start>Run type: gpedit.msc click Ok and then go to User
Config>Admin Templates>Cont Panel>Display.
Take a look there for any changes you can make.
